From October 2019 to March 2020, Bell (4th grader at Martin Luther King Jr Elementary School) and I spent time together through a KSMOCA mentorship in Portland OR. We recreated prompts from "Learning to Love You More" by Harrell Fletcher and Miranda July, learning what social practice is, and explored different modes of creating artwork with each other and others.

It was a process of explore medium and archiving our projects to share with students who were conducting the same projects in Santa Fe, New Mexico before the pandemic. We wanted to get to know each other through making artwork about our homes and sharing our projects with other students in Santa Fe.
